Memorial Hospital, Sonipat offers spine care led by Dr. Jitesh Manghwani (MBBS, MS, DNB), a visiting spine surgeon on Delhi Road. Spine surgery covers conditions of the back and neck - slipped (herniated) disc, sciatica, spinal stenosis, cervical (neck) problems and spinal degeneration. The most important thing to know is that most spine problems improve without surgery.
Our approach is conservative first: an accurate diagnosis, then physiotherapy, medication and guided exercise. Surgery is considered only when pain is severe and persistent, when the nerves are clearly affected, or when there is weakness or numbness that is getting worse. When surgery is the right answer, the aim is to relieve nerve pressure and restore function.
The spine OPD runs on Fridays, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Because this is a focused weekly clinic, please submit an appointment request or call the hospital and our team will confirm your slot. Sudden weakness in the legs, or loss of bladder or bowel control with back pain, is an emergency - come to Memorial Hospital straight away.
