General Medicine is the first point of care for most adult health concerns in Sonipat - fever and infections, diabetes, blood pressure, thyroid problems, chest infections and unexplained symptoms. Memorial Hospital, on Delhi Road, has two senior physicians. Dr. Ramesh Mehta (MD) has practised medicine in Sonipat since 1975 and founded the hospital - among the most trusted names in the city. Dr. Sameer Mehta (MD) brings critical-care and non-invasive cardiology expertise, having treated over 100,000 patients in OPD.
Our physicians assess the whole patient, reach a clear diagnosis, and either treat the condition or guide you to the right specialist. Long-term conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure are managed with structured follow-up rather than one-off visits, so they stay controlled and complications are prevented.
Heart-related concerns are covered through non-invasive cardiology (ECG, echocardiography and cardiac risk assessment) under Dr. Sameer Mehta; patients needing invasive procedures are referred to a partner cardiac centre. The department also runs admitted (IPD) and intensive care, with 24×7 emergency and ventilator support for seriously unwell patients. OPD is open daily.
