About Dr. Ramesh Mehta
Dr. Ramesh Mehta, M.D., is the first postgraduate to start private practice in Sonipat. The journey began with a small clinic in the heart of the city in 1975, and a hospital was built in 1979.
It started with an OPD block of three consultation rooms - physician, surgery and gynaecology - along with a minor OT and a clinical laboratory. After three years a full indoor ward and X-ray room were added, followed by a full operation theatre, with special rooms added as the need grew.
With the addition of Dr. Sameer Mehta (an ICU specialist trained at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital) and Dr. Amandeep Kaur (a gynaecologist trained at BPS Medical College), the hospital became a multi-specialty unit. Several more specialties have since been added.

MBBS - AMU, Aligarh, 1970. MD (Medicine) - Safdarjung Hospital, University of Delhi. Worked at Safdarjung Hospital as House Surgeon and Registrar in Medicine for 5 years.
Work experience
Practising as a Medicine and General Physician in Sonipat from 1975 to date.
Clinical experience
Manages a full range of general medical problems; refers patients to higher centres and superspecialists when required.

Life Member - Indian Medical Association (IMA). Member - Association of Physicians of India.
