About Dr. Jitesh Manghwani
Dr. Jitesh Manghwani is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon with over 11 years of experience, currently serving as Associate Director and Unit Head of Orthopaedic Spine Surgery at Max Healthcare (Shalimar Bagh, Delhi). He holds consultations at Memorial Hospital, Sonipat, on Fridays, bringing metro-level spine expertise to patients closer to home.
His practice spans the full breadth of modern spine care - from conservative, surgery-avoiding management of back and neck problems to microscopic keyhole procedures, endoscopic and O-Arm navigated operations, deformity correction, and cement procedures (vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty) for osteoporosis fractures. He trained in robotic spine surgery with Medtronic in the USA and serves as a proctor for robotic spine surgery in India, teaching the technique to other surgeons.
Before Max Healthcare, he spent six years as Consultant Spine Surgeon at the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, Vasant Kunj - one of the country's leading dedicated spine institutes - and has taught as Assistant Professor of Spine Surgery at KEM Hospital, Mumbai. His guiding principle is safe spine care: exhausting non-surgical options first, and operating with the least invasive technique that solves the problem.
