Dr. Anurag Mittal is Consultant Knee Replacement & Trauma Orthopaedic Surgeon at Memorial Hospital - an orthopaedic doctor in Sonipat specialising in knee replacement, trauma and arthroscopy. He completed his MBBS and MS Orthopaedics from the University College of Medical Sciences (Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital), Delhi University - passing his MS in the first attempt in 2017 - and went on to train as an international fellow in knee and shoulder arthroplasty and sports medicine at Seoul National University Hospital, South Korea, under the guidance of Prof. Tae Kyun Kim and Prof. Oh Joo Han.
His surgical practice spans precise keyhole (arthroscopic) surgery for sports injuries of the knee and shoulder, knee and shoulder replacement, and experience with computer-assisted and robotic techniques for knee replacement, including unicompartmental (partial) knee replacement. Before his fellowship, he worked as a senior resident across Delhi government hospitals - Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, ESIC Hospital and Jag Parvesh Chandra Hospital - managing high volumes of trauma and fracture care.
Dr. Anurag is a published researcher, with journal articles spanning hip and knee arthroplasty, shoulder arthroscopy and regenerative treatments such as PRP, and has presented at international and national conferences including APOA (Turkey) and IOACON. A life member of SICOT, ISKAA, the Indian Orthopaedic Association and the Delhi Orthopaedic Association, he continues to update his skills through national and international programmes, with a holistic approach to each patient's recovery.
